Quiz: Is this a real college course or something we just made up?

College has always been a magical time, when you can shed the shackles of a high school curriculum and pursue an education of your choosing. Goodbye, algebra and history. Hello, introduction to string theory and modern art.

But lately it seems colleges are offering an even more diverse range of courses. So diverse that it’s becoming hard to tell the joke classes from the real ones.

University of Victoria

New York University

University of South Carolina

University of Pennsylvania

University of California, Irvine

Rensselaer Polytechnic University

American University
